CCA’s PreK4 program builds on the goals of the PreK3 program where we strive to provide a learning environment that is safe, nurturing, Christ-centered, and challenging for your child, while creating experiences that are developmentally appropriate.  We seek to prepare children to become independent thinkers and lifelong learners.  Children in our program continue to explore learning through activities, interactive play, stories, music, and art.  Social development skills such as listening, sharing, playing well with our friends, and following directions are reinforced.  In our PreK4 program, children learn additional numbers, master letters and work on blending sounds and begin to read. 

Class time is from 8:00am until 12:00pm.  The program is offered as a five-day morning program with the option for your child to stay for a full day (8:00am – 2:30pm).  All curriculum is completed by 12:00pm each day.  For those children who attend the full day program, the afternoon activities consist of lunch, nap, and additional playtime.  The student-teacher ratio is no more than 10:1. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes with closed-toe shoes.  All PreK4 students must be four years old BEFORE September 1.
